section 102 of ipc begin and continuing of the right to individual bodily defense. – The right to privately defend one’s body kicks in as soon as there is a plausible fear that it will be in danger as a result of an effort or threat to commit an offense – even if the offense hasn’t yet been committed – and it lasts for as long as that fear persists.
