SECTION 36 IPC : Caused in part by an action and in part by an omission. —Anywhere that causing or attempting to induce a certain effect by an act or by omission is illegal, it should be understood that causing such effect partially by an act and partially by an omission is also illegal. Example A purposefully kills Z, partially by forcibly withholding food from Z and partially by beating Z. A has committed murder.
