SECTION 410 IPC : Property that has had its ownership transferred through theft, coercion, or robbery, as well as property that has been criminally misappropriated or with respect to which a criminal breach of trust has been committed, is referred to as “stolen property” regardless of whether the transfer or misappropriation or breach of trust occurred inside or outside of India. However, if that same thing afterwards enters the possession of a person who is legally entitled to it, it ceases to be stolen property.
