SECTION 423 IPC : False statement of consideration contained in a dishonest or fraudulently executed transfer deed.—Anyone who knowingly or fraudulently signs, executes, or joins any deed or instrument that is intended to transfer or charge any property or interest therein and contains a false statement about the consideration for such transfer or charge, or about the person or persons for whose use or benefit it is actually intended to operate, shall be punished by imprisonment of either kind for a term that may not exceed two years.
